NEWEST BACKGROUNDS
Large backdrop offering two quite distinct effects.
The copper side is original and striking, it sets the mood of the scene all on its own. Colour is applied with varying intensity, and its satin sheen still falls within the category of matte surfaces. It behaves like bronze but is much more dynamic when exposed to light.
Even in low light, the pattern doesn’t disappear completely — there’s always something happening, even in deep shadows.
The anthracite side gives an overall impression of smoothness, yet it features subtle highlights in the form of creases and other minor artifacts in shades of gray. You can feel and see that this is something different from ordinary gray fabric. It successfully replaces a classic dark gray backdrop.
It features a tunnel for the frame.
Care:
The backdrop can be ironed using a spray bottle at a high temperature through a cotton cloth on the anthracite side. A steamer works well when the backdrop is hung up.
In the photos with cats, the backdrop is shown immediately after being unfolded. If possible, it’s best to hang it up, mist it with water, and leave it for a day, so it can smooth out under its own weight. This will reduce the need for ironing.
The background can be ironed into a smooth sheet, and in the photos you won’t be able to tell that it’s a crumpled fabric — it can give the impression of a typical, much more expensive canvas. To help it smooth out better, pin the sides of the background to the tripod legs.
The process of crumpling and ironing out can be repeated many times. Over time, it will become easier to work with.
Do not wash.
